Snack healthy – we know it’s tempting to reach for unhealthy snacks when you’re mid-game, but by choosing low-sugar, high protein options you will improve your endurance – and maybe finally make it to that next level. Have healthy options ready to go – carrots and hummus, almonds, pumpkin seeds or a spoonful of peanut butter are all easy to grab when the snacking urge hits.
Don’t forget to sleep – we know how tempting it can be – just another level, five more minutes, I’ll go to bed when I’ve finished this round… But nothing is a substitute for a good night’s sleep!
