As a certified food production business, the team at Nourished HQ are taking the rising threat of COVID-19 extremely seriously. We believe it is our moral responsibility to do everything we can to support our nation during this extremely difficult time and are trying our best to help our community protect themselves as much as possible.
Doing everything we can to help vulnerable people.
Hoping our small gestures go some to helping our community stay safe, we are donating vitamins and sanitiser to local care units where they need it the most. Reassuring that we are here for them through this difficult time, we are delighted to have made a donation of sanitiser and vitamins for the staff to Ryland Place extra care in Edgbaston, as well as successfully (and safely!) delivering 78 bottles of sanitiser to Macintyre, charity and care to help people with learning disabilities and autism.
A free bottle in every box of Nourished.
At Nourished HQ, we have spent the week sourcing ingredients for hand sanitiser and have been making up bottles in our food production lab. From Wednesday, we will be putting a free bottle of hand sanitiser in every single box of Nourished which leaves our building, to help our customers who can’t find it elsewhere or who can’t afford the inflated prices.⠀⠀⠀
All hands on deck.⠀⠀
Here is Melissa Snover, our CEO and Founder at Nourished. She has been busy helping to make them in our food production lab!
Any and all orders placed from Wednesday onwards will receive a free sample of hand sanitiser, this applies to existing customers and any new orders inclusively and we will continue to provide this free service as long as there is need. We strongly believe in prevention before cure and are committed to helping our community protect themselves as much as possible. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preventing the spread of COVID-19.
In such crucial, concerning times, it is essential that we work together more so than ever before, in the prevention of the further spread of COVID-19.
At Nourished, we believe it is our moral responsibility to do everything we can to support our nation during this extremely difficult time and we are trying our best to help our community protect themselves as much as possible.
We will now be putting a free bottle of hand sanitiser in every single box of Nourished, in the aid to to help our community protect and prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
Our 60% alcohol hand sanitiser.
The NHS and Public Health England both agree that to kill most viruses, a hand sanitiser needs at least 60% alcohol content. So when you are unable to get to a wash basin, hand sanitiser can be a great alternative. Alcohol-based hand sanitisers can quickly reduce the number of microbes on hands if the alcohol content is at 60% or more, and all of our hand sanitisers are 60% alcohol, which according to the NHS and WHO is effective in preventing the spread of COVID -19.
Many studies have proven that sanitisers with an alcohol concentration of 60% or more, are more effective at killing germs than those with a lower alcohol concentration or non-alcohol-based hand sanitisers.
How to efficiently use your hand sanitiser.
It is important to remember to massage your hand sanitiser in for 40 seconds to get the maximum benefit. When using hand sanitizer, apply the product to the palm of one hand and rub the product all over the surfaces of both of your hands and between your fingers until they are dry. In this uncertain and unnerving time, let us look out for each other, be kind and stay safe. We're in this together.
